"Pedro Wide is where ultimate technology and artisanal excellence meet, a place where contemporary design is paired with a long tradition of renovating historical buildings."
Pedro Wide specializes in the design, consultancy, and assistance for aluminum, brass, steel, and corten steel metal windows and doors.
An industrial legacy lends charm and solidity to this food and beverage incubator. It was the idea behind the architects' project: not to erase the evidence of the past. A substantial and challenging undertaking: blending cutting-edge technology in aluminum profiles with industrial charm, with the aim of achieving excellent performance.
An antique youth hostel, once the site of an old charity providing hospitality to the less fortunate who came to the city in search of a better future. The building exudes typical Baroque charm, transformed into a modern approach to hospitality by a brilliant team of architects. Take a look at that cloister: the first and second floors are encased in a glass and aluminum structure, while the ground floor features thermally broken painted galvanized steel.
This impressive Juvarrian Architecture was renovated in 1984 by Architect Andrea Bruno, leading to the foundation of the Rivoli Contemporary Art Museum. It quickly emerged as a beacon in Europe's art scene. Another intervention soon began in the elongated section of the building, known as the Manica Lunga. A seemingly endless row of brass windows sets the pace.
The building was a 19th-century theatre located just outside the Roman Walls, with a prominent position facing Torino's iconic landmarks—the Duomo and the Mole Antonelliana. Despite its adjacency to the beautiful Royal Gardens, it is situated on a bustling street. The project required a triple-skin cage made of metal and glass for optimal thermal and acoustic insulation. This was achieved through the use of large aluminum sliding doors as the first skin, aluminum casements as the second skin, and a combination of galvanized steel and glass facing the street.
