Within its expansive and sprawling structure, which encompasses a chapel, the Conservatoire des Arts et Métiers underwent a redesign to accommodate its extensive collection and welcome new visitors. The museography carefully incorporated existing features, such as floor rails for cart movement, while seamlessly integrating new display cabinets, educational tools, and distinct technical components, everything forged in bronze and bespoke, engineered, and manufactured in our plant. Foucault's pendulum, a prominent exhibit, found its place at the rear of the choir, aligned with the chapel's axis. Suspended near the new entrance and extending almost to the floor, it captivates visitors with an unexpected and unique perspective. From the outside, a series of windows in burnished brass and glass, elegant in their timeless patina. To conceal the elevators, a massive series of sunshade panels, designed in-house and extruded based on our original drawings.
